The Luminary Awards in GI Cancers will take place in-person on Thursday, November 17, 2022, in Washington, D.C. Please complete the nomination form below to recognize deserving individuals who have dedicated themselves to improving patient outcomes in gastrointestinal cancers.

About

The Luminary Awards in GI Cancers is an event dedicated to honoring five highly accomplished individuals for their lifetime achievements focused on finding cures for GI cancers and improving the lives of those affected by this group of most common and fatal cancers.

Nomination Criteria

  1. Nominee shall have achieved landmark successes within the field of GI oncology.
  2. Nominee must be living at the time of nomination.
  3. Individuals may be nominated in as many categories as appropriate.
  4. International nominates – nominations for US and non-US physicians will be accepted in all categories -- no restrictions on the nominated clinician’s home/practicing country.
  5. Individuals submitting nominations should be affiliated with the GI Cancer community, in a clinical, research, or advocacy role.
  6. Voting will be based upon the information supplied by the nominator
