Honduran Oncologist Dr. Angel Sanchez on How ASCO Impacts Global Cancer Care

Angel Sanchez, MD, of Honduras, a 3 year volunteer for the ASCO International Cancer Corps, discusses cancer care in Honduras, describing that the key to success is education and that ASCO is helping by sending volunteers to teach and train new Oncologists. Sanchez states there are only 10 medical oncologists in Honduras and that the only way to meet the need is with education.
