There is considerable controversy regarding prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing for patients with prostate cancer, explains Hu. The United States Preventive Services Task Force recommends against PSA screening for patients with prostate cancer regardless of age.

Given some of the recent guidelines that were developed by the Task Force due the decrease of prostate cancer screening, many are questioning if the current presentation of prostate cancer is changing, states Hu.
