Thomas Powles, MD, MBBS, MRCP, director, Barts Cancer Institute, discusses the mission and goals for the Uromigos Twitter group.

The Uromigos Twitter group is a unit of colleagues brought together from around the world with a diverse background in oncology. They are well represented in terms of the way they interact with one another and their respective fields, as well as their breadth of knowledge, says Powles.

The group hopes that their content will be focused on the latest developments in oncology. Their platform will be fast-moving, free, and available to all users to take part in and listen to. They are also transitioning to create interactive dialogue where Twitter conversations will occur simultaneously alongside of their podcast so their audience can ask questions live, concludes Powles. Uromigos can be found here on Twitter.
