In today’s episode, supported by Replimune, we had the pleasure of speaking with Anna C. Pavlick, BSN, MSc, DO, MBA, about the use of RP1 plus nivolumab (Opdivo) for the treatment of patients with advanced melanoma. Dr Pavlick is a professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, New York; as well as the founding director of the Cutaneous Oncology Program at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian.

In our exclusive interview, Dr Pavlick discussed the rationale for investigating this combination in patients with advanced melanoma who have received prior immune checkpoint inhibition, key efficacy and safety findings from the phase 1/2 IGNYTE trial (NCT03767348), and where the future may be headed regarding the use of oncolytic viruses in melanoma.
