OncLive: Can you discuss the rationale behind conducting this study?
: We had looked at the possibility of cadmium being associated with breast cancer almost 10 years ago. We did a study investigating that association and saw an increased risk with cadmium and breast cancer. Since breast cancer is hormone-dependent, as is endometrial cancer, we wondered if we would see a similar association with endometrial cancer.
