Shereck has long had a passion for medical education, but never enjoyed lectures. As fellowship director at OHSU, she works to find new ways to prevent relevant information while keeping trainees engaged.
Harnessing her experiences as a camp counselor and her training in medical education, Shereck tries to "gamify" learning. Ultimately, she believes her methods help her trainees better retain information.
