Bringing the Oncology Community Together

Web-Based CME Program Started for Rural Oncologists

With a grant from Pfizer, Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York has launched a Web-based CME program to give physicians in rural areas free access to clinical research and expert advice on oncology through an e-newsletter. Nearly a quarter of Americans live in rural areas, where cancer mortality rates are highest. The CME program is expected to provide oncologists with better and earlier access to critical developments in cancer research.
