Treating brain metastases for patients with lung cancer remains to be a challenge, explains Camidge. It is important to develop more clinical trials to gather information regarding how to best treat these patients.

According to Camidge, we can almost manipulate the overall response rate depending on whether we target a central nervous system (CNS) lesion or an extra CNS lesion.
