Dr. Osman on Designing the Program for the MBCC

Dr. Daniel Osman, director of the Miami Breast Cancer Conference, on Designing the Program for the MBCC

Daniel A. Osman, MD, Founder and Course Director of the Miami Breast Cancer Conference, discusses designing the program for the Miami Breast Cancer Conference.

Osman has learned from his 28 years of putting on the conference that it's important to keep material and presentations fresh. “You can’t discuss what you did last year,” he says, “or no one’s going to come.”

In his effort to bring in new information, Osman reads a large number of journals from around the world. From each publication, he picks out interesting pieces of research or knowledge that he feels will be valuable. He calls these “hot subjects," which he uses to put the Miami Breast Cancer Conference together.
