Elacestrant in combination with everolimus or abemaciclib in patients with ER+/HER2- locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer (mBC): phase 2 results from ELEVATE, an open-label, umbrella study

Rapid readout: oral SERD elacestrant plus everolimus or abemaciclib boosts PFS in ER+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer with manageable safety.

This presentation highlights new clinical findings evaluating elacestrant in combination with targeted therapies for patients with hormone receptor–positive, HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer. In the phase 2 ELEVATE study, elacestrant combined with everolimus demonstrated a median progression-free survival (mPFS) of 8.3 months, while the combination with abemaciclib achieved an mPFS of 14.3 months. These results suggest meaningful clinical activity with a safety profile consistent with known standards of care and support the potential role of elacestrant as a foundation for all-oral combination treatment strategies in this setting.
