During the 2026 American Urological Association (AUA) Annual Meeting, which took place in May 2026, experts in genitourinary (GU) cancer care gathered in Washington, DC, to share new data in renal cell carcinoma, urothelial carcinoma, and prostate cancer. Notable presentations included expanded efficacy and safety data from the phase 3 POTOMAC trial (NCT03528694) of durvalumab (Imfinzi) plus BCG induction and maintenance therapy in BCG-naive, high-risk non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) as well as pivotal results from the phase 2 LEGEND study (NCT04752722) of detalimogene voraplasmid in BCG-unresponsive NMIBC with carcinoma in situ, with or without papillary disease.
