Key Takeaways

  • Endometrial cancer is expected to lead ASCO 2026 gynecologic oncology data volume, reflecting momentum for frontline chemo-immunotherapy approaches, particularly in dMMR/MSI-H populations.
  • Long-term RUBY analyses will probe durability beyond initial PFS/OS gains, using cure modeling to assess whether a subset with dMMR/MSI-H disease achieves remission consistent with functional cure.

Poll results reflect some of the most anticipated presentations and fields of interest in gynecologic oncology at the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting.

With the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting just 1 week away, excitement is building across the gynecologic oncology community regarding new data expected to influence treatment approaches in endometrial and ovarian cancers. With advances in immunotherapy, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and targeted therapies continuing to reshape the field, OncLive® conducted social media polls to determine which gynecologic cancer disease areas and abstracts clinicians are most eager to learn more about during the meeting.

Poll: What area of #gynecologic oncology do you expect to see the most data in at #ASCO26?

  • Endometrial cancer
  • Platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC)
  • Folate receptor alpha (FRα)–high ovarian cancer
  • Cervical cancer

Among respondents (n = 33), endometrial cancer emerged as the disease area expected to generate the greatest amount of data at the meeting, receiving 45% of the vote. PROC followed at 30%, whereas FRα-high ovarian cancer garnered 21% of responses. Cervical cancer accounted for 3% of the vote. The results reflect growing interest in immunotherapy-driven advances in endometrial cancer and the continued expansion of ADC strategies in ovarian malignancies.

Poll: Which abstract are you most excited to hear about at #ASCO26?

  • Long-term RUBY data
  • Updated NRG-GY018 data
  • OS by taxane use in ROSELLA
  • MIROVA with mirvetuximab

Among respondents (n = 8), the long-term data from the phase 3 RUBY trial (NCT03981796) investigating dostarlimab-gxly (Jemperli) plus chemotherapy in patients with recurrent or primary advanced endometrial cancer received the highest level of interest, accounting for 50% of the vote. The phase 2 MIROVA trial (NCT04274426) with mirvetuximab soravtansine-gynx (Elahere) in patients with FRα-high recurrent ovarian cancer followed at 38%, whereas the subgroup overall survival (OS) analyses from the phase 3 ROSELLA trial (NCT05257408) of relacorilant plus nab-paclitaxel (Abraxane) in patients with advanced, platinum-resistant, high-grade ovarian cancer received 13% of the vote. Updated data from the phase 3 NRG-GY018 trial (NCT03914612) of pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy in patients with recurrent endometrial cancer did not receive votes in this poll, although experts have still highlighted the presentation as one of the most clinically meaningful updates expected during the meeting.

Based on these poll findings, OncLive compiled a closer look at several of the most anticipated gynecologic oncology abstracts scheduled for presentation during the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting.

Abstract 5501: Long-term survival rates and cure modeling with dostarlimab plus chemotherapy in dMMR/MSI-H primary advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer in the ENGOT-EN6-NSGO/GOG-3031/RUBY trial

Presentation time: May 29, 2026, 2:45 pm CT

The RUBY trial (NCT03981796) previously transformed the treatment landscape for patients with advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer, particularly those with dMMR/MSI-H tumors, by demonstrating substantial improvements in progression-free survival and overall survival with the addition of dostarlimab-gxly (Jemperli) to carboplatin and paclitaxel. This updated presentation is expected to move beyond initial efficacy outcomes by exploring long-term survival and cure modeling analyses. Investigators and clinicians alike are eager to see whether a subset of patients may achieve durable remission suggestive of potential cure, an outcome historically considered rare in advanced endometrial cancer.

Abstract 5502: Updated overall survival analysis and examination of subsequent therapy in endometrial cancer patients treated with pembrolizumab plus carboplatin/paclitaxel in the NRG-GY018 trial

Presentation time: May 29, 2026, 2:57 pm CT

The phase 3 NRG-GY018 trial (NCT03914612) established pembrolizumab (Keytruda) plus carboplatin/paclitaxel as a standard-of-care option in advanced and recurrent endometrial cancer after demonstrating significant progression-free survival benefits, especially in dMMR disease. The updated overall survival analysis is anticipated to clarify whether those earlier PFS improvements translate into a durable survival advantage. Additionally, the study’s examination of subsequent therapies may provide insight into how later-line immunotherapy and treatment crossover affect long-term outcomes and sequencing strategies in clinical practice.

Abstract 5503: Overall survival subgroup analyses for prior taxane use in the phase 3 ROSELLA trial of relacorilant plus nab-paclitaxel versus nab-paclitaxel monotherapy in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer

Presentation time: May 29, 2026, 3:33 pm CT

The phase 3 ROSELLA trial (NCT05257408) previously demonstrated improved progression-free survival and overall survival with relacorilant (Lifyorli) plus nab-paclitaxel (Abraxane) in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. This subgroup analysis will focus specifically on patients with prior taxane exposure, an important and often difficult-to-treat population. Clinicians are particularly interested in whether the benefit of relacorilant is maintained among heavily pretreated patients, as positive findings could further expand therapeutic options in PROC.

Abstract 5506: A randomized phase 2 trial of mirvetuximab soravtansine in FRα-high recurrent ovarian cancer eligible for platinum-based chemotherapy (MIROVA/AGO-OVAR 2.34)

Presentation time: May 29, 2026, 4:33 pm CT

Mirvetuximab soravtansine-gynx (Elahere), an FRα-targeting ADC, is already approved for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer and remains one of the most closely watched agents in gynecologic oncology. The randomized phase 2 MIROVA trial (NCT04274426) is expected to evaluate the role of mirvetuximab in patients eligible for platinum-based chemotherapy, potentially extending the drug’s use into earlier treatment settings. Investigators have highlighted the presentation as part of a broader wave of ADC development in gynecologic cancers, with considerable interest surrounding both efficacy and safety findings for emerging targeted therapies.
