With the 2026 ESMO Congress (ESMO 2026) set to kick off on October 23 in Madrid, Spain, attention turns to the gastrointestinal (GI) cancer field, where experts are anticipating pancreatic cancer data on KRAS G12D inhibition combined with chemotherapy, therapeutic strategies for MTAP-deleted disease, and a mutant KRAS–directed vaccine in the adjuvant setting, as well as colorectal cancer (CRC) data on adjuvant chemotherapy intensification and immunotherapy for mismatch repair–deficient (dMMR) rectal cancer.
