Tremelimumab + durvalumab + chemotherapy vs pembrolizumab + chemotherapy in 1L non-squamous metastatic NSCLC with STK11, KEAP1 and/or KRAS mutations: Interim analysis of the phase 2b TRITON study
Charu Aggarwal, MD, MPH, discusses planned interim results from the phase 2b TRITON trial evaluating tremelimumab plus durvalumab and chemotherapy versus pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy in patients with previously untreated metastatic non–small cell lung cancer harboring STK11, KEAP1, and/or KRAS mutations.
This presentation slide deck details the planned interim analysis of the phase 2b TRITON clinical trial, which evaluates a dual immunotherapy and chemotherapy regimen for patients with specific genetic mutations in advanced lung cancer. The study prospectively compares the efficacy and overall safety of this combination therapy against standard single-immunotherapy and chemotherapy options. Ultimately, the data provide preliminary evidence supporting the tolerability and clinical role of the dual immunotherapy approach for this difficult-to-treat patient population.
