Dr Gilbert on OS According to Prior Taxane Use in PROC From the ROSELLA Trial

Fact checked by: Caroline Seymour

Lucy Gilbert, MD, discusses overall survival data with relacorilant plus nab-paclitaxel based on prior taxane use from the phase 3 ROSELLA trial in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.

“The most encouraging take-home point is this was a difficult-to-treat group of patients who are platinum resistant, almost half––44% had 3 prior lines of treatment, and all of them were exposed to bevacizumab [Avastin]; 61% of them had [received] a PARP inhibitor, and despite that, [we saw that] taxane [use within or after] 6 months [of recurrence] did not affect the gains [we saw].”

Lucy Gilbert, a professor in the Department Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Department of Oncology at McGill University, as well as director of Gynecologic Oncology and director of the Women’s Health Research Unit at McGill University and McGill University Health Centre, discussed overall survival data with relacorilant (Lifyorli) plus nab-paclitaxel (Abraxane) based on prior taxane use from the phase 3 ROSELLA trial (NCT05257408) in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.
