We recently traveled to Durham, North Carolina, for a State of the Science Summit™ on Gastrointestinal Malignancies. At the meeting, we spoke with the faculty from Duke Health and UNC Health Care, who highlighted key updates from the 2019 Gastrointestinal Symposium.
Key topics included the importance of molecular profiling in colorectal cancer, important trials in gastric/gastroesophageal junction cancer, headway made in the treatment of pancreatic cancer, novel approaches in neuroendocrine tumors, and emerging agents in hepatocellular carcinoma.
