Dr. Markman on HPV Testing to Detect Cervical Cancer

Maurie Markman, MD the National Director for Medical Oncology for the Cancer Treatment Centers of America on HPV testing to detect cervical cancer.

Dr. Markman says it's interesting to note that HPV testing is as important as traditional pap smears. The data related to HPV's relationship to cervical cancer is very clear. There are now two vaccines, but screening for cervical cancer with HPV testing is important.
