The 2013 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium was held at the Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando, Florida, from February 14-16.

The 2013 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium, held at the Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando, Florida, from February 14-16, focused on the prevention, detection, and treatment of genitourinary cancers.

The meeting sought to facilitate discussion regarding best practices, ideas, and science in order to advance the field of genitourinary oncology. The focus of the symposium is on cancers of the bladder, kidneys, penis, prostate, testis and urethra.

The symposium, which is co-sponsored by ASCO, ASTRO, and SUO, highlighted over 475 abstracts focused on genitourinary cancers and attracted over 2,400 in attendance.
