Ian Hagemann, MD, PhD, assistant professor of pathology and immunology, Washington University School of Medicine, discusses the main take home from his presentation at the 2020 SGO Winter Meeting.

As a pathologist at his institution, Hagemann works very closely with his gynecologic group so that they can make better use of the pathology services. He recommends that physicians continue their conversations with pathologists regularly.

Hagemann hopes that the audience took away that they need to foster closer conversations with pathologists in their institutions to ensure the best practice in gynecologic oncology.
