Debu Tripathy, MD, co-leader, Women's Cancer Program, University of Southern California Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, provides an overview of the SystHERs registry.

The SystHERs registry is enrolling patients that have been diagnosed with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer within 6 months. This represents an effort to collect information on the demographics and treatment history of these patients. Currently, there is no information on how patients are treated after diagnosis.

There is data from individual trials, Tripathy says, which cover one treatment, but the course of treatment and outcomes for these patients is not known.
