Suzanne Beauchene, BSN, RN, RD, from Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in Seattle, WA discusses the Provenge process starting with a collection of the immune cells using leukapheresis. Once the cells are collected they are sent to a manufacturing facility and mixed with the protein then the Provenge is sent back and given to the patient.
