Published: Monday, May 15, 2017

Gennedy Bratslavsky, MD, deputy director of Upstate Cancer Center, director of the Robotic Program for all Upstate Campuses, and director of the VHL Clinical Cancer Center, discusses the evaluation and management of kidney cancer.

Not every patient who presents with bilateral kidney cancer will have a genetic disorder, explains Bratslavsky.

Having knowledge of a specific histology from a biopsy, may help further direct the patient to additional genetic testing.
