A challenge that needs to be addressed is the ability to determine which cancers will be aggressive and require a more intense treatment, explains Stephenson. There are a lot of developments in the areas of imaging, genomics, and biomarkers that will help to answer this question.

Additionally, for men with more aggressive cancers, there are emergences of new treatment paradigms, states Stephenson.
